The proposed law would allow small water agencies to apply for a permit on the ?? ???basis of CDC ??? ???an environmental assessment of their application.
One person questioned the legality of limiting permits to small water agencies due to the lack of a definition of “public”.
“They have to have a public entity or a public health concern so how are they getting all these permits to put up this sign?” he asked.
An analysis by a Water Resources Conservation District found that small water agencies in the region were responsible for only a fraction of the overall water pollution that goes into the community aquifer.
